Dawa Lhamo was born in Lhasa, the capitol of Tibet. She earned her undergraduate degree in Tibetan literature from Central Minorities University in Beijing. Previously, Dawa Lhamo was a senior radio and newspaper reporter in Beijing and Lhasa. She studied English in the United States and enjoys all forms of music. She has won a number of awards for her Tibetan singing and dancing skills. Currently, Dawa Lhamo is employed at Clarian North Medical Center in Indianapolis.
